The Village of Arbour Trails has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Care Aide to join their team.
• Status: Temporary Part-Time
• Location: 32 Bayberry Dr, Guelph, ON N1G 0C9
• Start Date: Friday March 13, 2026
HOURS 30 hrs Biweekly, Shifts: 1400 - 2100 - Week 1: Mon/Sat/Sun Week 2: Fri
The hiring rate for this role is $19.83 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

As our new Personal Care Aide (PCA) you will:
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the PCA role.
- Be able to prioritize and properly complete tasks effectively without compromising the care and compassion provided to residents even when under stress.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team by giving and providing feedback with the neighborhood team and collaborating with others to provide the exceptional care to our residents.
- Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.
- Provide a positive customer experience for residents, families, team members, volunteers, and community partners through our Customer Experience Credo, CONNECT the Dots (Know Me, Be Present, Walk in My Shoes, Earn Trust and Follow Through).
It would be considered an asset if you have:
- Have a valid PSW Certificate that is 600 hours or greater and meets the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities OR an Internationally Educated Nurse with experience working as a PSW, PCA or equivalent
- Proven alignment with our organizational vision, mission, and values of Caring relationships, Persistent and passionate, Positive, Can-do attitude, Creative and innovative, Hardworking and hands-on and Genuine and humble.
- Previous experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Setting.
- Knowledge of the skills required to work with people living with Dementia.
- Experience providing activities of daily living within a geriatric population.
